Can anyone tell me if these diodes will work in my Audio Research LS-7 tube preamp?
The factory parts are😀1-4: IN4006 D7-10: IN4005

The Fairchild ISL9R8120P2 package is different, otherwise it's ok.

The Schottky STPS8H100D is only 100V, compared to the IN4005 600V rating.
That should work adequately in this circuit. The package is different as well.

Thanks for the reply! By different packaging, you're referring to the physical layout of the diode, right? The legs should be long enough to reach the holes in the PCB if bent slightly.

I also noticed the 600V rating of IN4005, but the cap right next to it (C16) has a rating of 63V. I'm not sure why they used a diode with a 600V rating for D7-10.

I have these diodes already so I'll use them, but if someone wanted to use all Fairchilds, would the Fairchilds work for D7-10? I can't remember why these particular diodes were recommended to me years ago.
