Hey All,

I piked up this handy little thing on a whim.

It is a digital volume control with RCA and 3.5mm TRS connectors.
I just finished fitting it into my Aikido to replace my Alps pot and it really works quite well.
It's dead silent in my setup.
Another cool thing is that the rotary encoder has a momentary click in button that mutes and unmutes.
I removed the PCB mounted RCA's and soldered my wiring into it.
It's really quite nice.

For $15 w/ free shipping it's cheaper than an Alps Blue and has more functionality.

I bought one too, and was very surprised at how well it works. I also bought an el-cheapo Class D amp, not from Sure though, and was also surprised at how it sounds.

As one half of a pre-amp and a rotary switch as a source selector, that is $20 plus a wall wart, put it in a case and, voila, a cheap and easy unit.
