I have a conventional PC with a soundblaster pro clone onboard.
I want to use a DAT player to transpose albums into digital (because it has a professional quality ADC as oposed to the dubious quality on on the soundblaster).
I only have analogue input and output to the computer and want to use my CDROM burner to make the copy. What do I need to get the digital input from the DAT player to the CDROM burner.
Thanks in anticipation

You can digitally upload your DAT data to a PC using a UA-1D from Edirol, which is a USB to S/PDIF interface.

If you "Google" for "Edirol UA-1D" you'll see many sources for it. I think it's in the $100 range.
Make sure your DAT recorder has the right kind of interface and you have the correct cable.
