vortex you seem to have similar requirments to me .
yeah I was looking at exactly that crossover yesterday all I really want is a high quality way of splitting the signal to send to my active studio monitors and a pair of subs I'm planning to make . maybe all the digital stuff is over complicating things and going to end up costing a lot of money . I have a cheap dbx crossover but would like something really high quality perhaps I could have something made up

Hi guys, responding to the Driverack PA2.....no, you want to skip that one..lackluster reputation at best, in prosound world I'd take a dcx2496 over it. The Venue 360 is a good step up from it..

Take a look at miniDSP products. I use two of their miniSharc boards with 6 stereo dacs connected to the outputs.
Can I ask which stereo DAC's you are using?
Also, do you know if is there is any way to clock the miniSharc to incoming S/Pdif? I dread the SRC...
