I want to order the proper stripboard from Digikey but I get thousands of results to my searches
how can I find a 10 row stripboard appropriate for this project at digikey ?

You might call it something else. When you said strip board, I envisioned rows of solder terminals on a board, like tube amps are made on somethings. What your project uses, I call experimenter board, project solder board, experimenter prototype board, names like that.
Digikey may have something like that, but I'd be looking at more hobby focused places like Jameco. I used to use, and still have a stack of, some boards from Radio SHack. Board copper was laid out exactly like their plug in breadboards. The stores are closed, but you can still order stuff from Radio Shack online.

I have a few items to order already from Digikey and was hoping to add on to that. I don't want to order from a place like Jameco because I would have a shipping charge for a small order.
Consider this, if you find a thing like you want at a place like Jameco, you then know what it is officially called and possibly even who made it. And That might make your search at Digikey a lot easier.
In Britain, we call this stuff Veroboard.
