FWIW if I had to use a KT88 design, I'd run KT120 in it. Tubes will probably last longer if my experience with modern KT88 means anything... Why do you think I moved to TV tubes 😛

Hi Kodamx, this Primaluna amp is able to use quite a few varieties of power tubes. I have restricted myself to KT88s & a set of KT77s. Future amps will be diy SET. Have stayed away from building tube amps as Im weary of the high voltages.
