Hi All,
I came up with new names for some electronic components.
Here we go:
Rotmeter, a bad potmeter.
Flakeistor, a resistor that is all over the place.
Fakeistor, a zero Ohm resistor
Desistor, a resistor that can`t make up its mind.
Insistor, a resistor that doesn't want to burn.
Bafenser, a exploding condenser.
A coil and a resistor in parallel, a reductor
Please feel free to find more names,
Best regards, Veeren

I can only manage one:
Flakey - a duff keyboard switch
The rest are different descriptions for components, so slightly off-topic:
damper diode - diode developed in Atlantis
flyback diode - diode with wings
torx - a screw that says it'll screw you
Hall Effect Device - delay for rear speakers
Reed switch - emergency surgery for the Saxophone
Micro-controller - a petite wife
Photomultiplier - photo printing lab
Mercury arc rectifier - orbit corrector for planet 1
Trim pot - potentiometer that exercises regularly

Are these cringeworthy enough?
Deadphones - bargain store specials!
Tantrum capacitor - may refuse to store a charge
Balloon - poorly designed balun
Bandana lead - tied up banana lead
Splutter - noisy signal splitter
Stopper motor - converts electricity into zero motion
Hot sink - inefficient heat sink
Boggle switch - off when on
USB flush drive - my data has gone down the toilet!
Yogi - an antenna that's a bear to align
Prototype bored - time this project was brought to a conclusion!

I trust you're poking fun at the Scottish accent rather than suggesting a salacious fascination for big woofers!Lewdspeakers - popular in Scotland
Jock plug - a Scottish electrical connector

Don't provoke the Jocks !
I am just over the border in England and they will invade us again.
Yours sincerely, the Sasanach.
Not if you want to keep custody of your Cumberland sausage!Don't provoke the Jocks!
Blinking plate - an undersized blanking plate
These words can't be translated from my language:
diófa (nut tree) - from "dióda" (diode)
ellenállat (contra animal) - from "ellenállás" (resistor)
kondi - from "kondenzátor" (capacitor)
trafó - from "transzformátor" (transformer)
tranyó - from tranzisztor (transistor)
tekrenc - from tekercs (coil)
poti - from potenciometer (variable resistor)
and so on
