ECC83 is a Euro-name 12AX7 HI-Mu twin-triode.
Frankly, I think that plan has too much gain already. Maybe that is why it has the 68K grid resistor (500K would be quite safe).
So use 6SL7. Mu is a little down from 12AX7, maybe not enuff to notice. Look-up the base diagrams.
You might try changing the 1K cathode resistors a little higher or lower. My guess is that 1K4 is a good starting place for 6SL7, but I'm not inclined to analyze an SRPP today.
Experiment with a much higher KT88 grid resistor.
