Hi everyone!
After seeing some awsome projectors here, I would like to get started myself.
I have a psone lcd that I would like to put to use as a projector. I would like to project the image directly from the lcd screen through a lens onto the wall without using a light other than the backlight of the lcd.
When using a magnifying glass lens to focus the image from the lcd to the wall, it produces a 40"ish image at about 7 feet away. The image is actually bright enough for me, but it is very blurry around the edges and not nearly as clear as I had hoped.
My suspission is that the lens is causing the blurines. Am I correct that a different lens will create a more clear image? If so, what kind would work best in this situation?
Thank you!

Your probably right about the lens. Try to find an old overhead projector from your local school surplus. That would give you much better results compared to that magnafying glass.
