Yes with 1. order PLLXO with styroflex caps i get very natural and clean sound.I use TA2020 amp for fullranges and it sounds very warm and detailed. However i see that fullrange cone moves more than i think.I think there is a mistake when calculating PLLXO cutoff frequency.I read TA2020 amps input impedance 22k in somewhere and built it for this but now i read 47k in another place. If anyone knows the true value please tell me.Otherwise i will measure it myself.
Not even, I have done some quite complex EQ with PLL. Enough to want the help of a simulator of course. 😉A PLLXO does have significant limitations in application,
I'm not at all worried about adc/dsp/dac systems, and besides that you can feed digital signal to minidsp 2x4HD with USB. Measurements and listening impressions of other people don't show anything alarming either. But I understand that some people have strong prejudicies and dogmas...
Anyway the beauty of dsp is versatility. You can at least think about it as a test rig to experiment different settings/target curves etc. for analog/passive circuits. And to get the juice out of it you must learn to make measurements, without that it is just a toy. You can use same unit for several projects and tests, or sell it if you find it useless.

Hi.Oh my mind mixed up and forgot it is directly connecting to USB port and digital input (i thought it is connected to Analog inputs of dac only) No problem for me, i can also of course use mini dsp hd as i do not have any prejudicies. Just should spend some extra money, nowadays bussiness is not good because of Covid-19.And I just liked my weilang dac 7 which has paralleled wm8741 dacs and have class a warm power supply which results warm sound that i like a lot. It was 8years ago when i bought it though. Technology is growing fast. (but i think it would be superb if minidsp also have class a power supply to make warm musical sound too for audiophiles)
I also already have Gustard U12 Xmos USB digital converter. Do you think it is better to use it with mini dps or use mini dsp alone directly?
My friend also wants to make a project like yours Aino gradient. He wants sealed for bottom and open baffle for the top.He is much richer than me and can try many projects if he is pumped up 🙂

correction: I meant i thought it is connecting to analog outputs of dac.

I also need it. And i wonder highest possible input impedance of b1 buffer. Want to make buffered pllxo. ill it oscillate ?

Would you be able to specify Zsource and Zload, and a response plot (or description thereof)?I also need it. And i wonder highest possible input impedance of b1 buffer. Want to make buffered pllxo. ill it oscillate ?
I have a Weilang Dac7. It has paralelled wm8741. I think it has several hundreds ohms output impedance max. This is the dac

Z load 22k for bass (topping TP22) and i think it is 47k for treble but not sure(it is ta2022 amp)

I see so is it a crossover as well as some EQ.. Have you already decided on the target responses for the circuit?
Hi. I want 2 different circuits. First 100Hz and other one 300Hz. 12dB/octave may be ok. I will try first one for 4inch aucharm fullrange and other one for Faital 3FE22 which i recently bought.
