I have tried CS8420,CS8412 and CS8414 as digital Reveiver in DAC before.
Is there any better or interesting choice?

Take a look at the Wolfson WM8804, it is a very good performer in my experience. (I'm using one in hardware mode)
Thanks for your suggestions.
Excuse me,do you know where should I get it?any retail or online store?
Thanks!

How about DIR9001? Definitely not as good as the Wolfson, but a good alternative choice if you don't require more than 96KHz input.
BTW, Mouser carries the WM8804.......

Today there is only one really high-quality spdif receiver - WM8804, others have too high cut in PLL loop therefore very badly suppress the input jitter. thats why or i2s or spdif from 8804

Is there anyone ever compare WM8804 with CS8414/8412?
