Does it matter for audio coupling ? I'll be using 2.2uf caps at the output of a tube preamp. I can get either caps from the r71 or r76 series from Arcotronics.
The R71 are described so:
Dielectric: polypropylene film
Plates: metal layer deposited by evaporation under vacuum
Winding: non-inductive type
The r76 are described so:
Dielectric: polypropylene film.
Plates: double sided metallized polyester film
Winding: non-inductive type
Thanks for any insight.

the segmented carrier film construction is used for higher V rating, may have better self-healing/higher safety rating - and should be physically larger for the same C
not likely needed or wanted for audio coupling
