difference between two tpa3116 amps

Hi,
My first post so go easy on me 🙂
I'm about to immerse myself into audio world and something cheap and versatile like tpa3116 ebay models seems perfect.

I'm chosing it over tda7498 due to bluetooth connectivity and spare laptop charger laying around.

I've found two models on ebay, the only difference seems to be one setup has speakers and bass output while the other one has only speakers output.
I will be running two wharfedale 9 speakers: 6ohms, 75W.
Most likely I will not be adding subwoofer but all things identical is model with bass output better?
Is any particular board better than the other?

In my experience amps that have with or without sub output options always sounded slightly better in 2 channel only form. If you don't plan on adding or using a sub i would go for the 2 channel version .

I can vouch for the 2+1 amp. You get full range from the stereo and optional sub channel.

With the diamonds, I would want a sub. A second hand car sub is peanuts to buy.


Please trawl the other threads as the Chinese cut corners. Out of the box it will work fine. Lots of rectification fixes for the cut corners at little expense with some basic soldering skills.
