= Introduction =
This page will eventually be an index for the diy hifi projects that I'm going to undertake.
I've got some ambitious plans but we'll see if any of them come to fruition. Atm, I've got the following projects that I'd like to do.
* 7ch amplifier (bi-amp fronts, center, 2 rear channels).
* Case/chassis - I love the classe delta series chassis so I'll see about making something in homage to them (that and the wife likes the looks too)
* Speakers - originally, I'd come to diyaudio to get some help with building/desiging speakers. As it turns out, this appears to be quite a lot harder than I'd originally anticipated and requires a hell of a lot more learning (and tooling) to get to the end point. I've put the speaker project on hold until I build my amps because, frankly, my current kit isn't to my liking.
* A/V Stand - I'm really looking forward to designing this one. I have some killer ideas (though most of them are impractical considering that I'll one day have to move the stand), but the process of design-and-refine-and-design-and....etc continues.
