Xenums/Biumph...

Would these suffice?

Use this for a sub...a 9" cube. The KG3100 from Madisound will fit, but you'll need to enlarge the enclosure to allow for the amp.

Biumph or Triumph, depending on where you get your PR:

It's what I built and use myself, so it does work.

When the satillites are that small ( as I imagine they don't extend real low ; you cross them @ 100 -120hz??) Are the sats ported or sealed ?
It's quite a good Idea to have R &L (2) subs! .

Looks like a real cool set up wolf !!!

For the OP ; Yoy may stumble upon many folks who hate using subs for mixing audio . I suspect that those are the folks who haven't dug deep enough and studied how deep ( yup , lame hertz pun ) the subject of sub integration can get ..... Hint your room will make a big difference at those low down frequencies !

I think my ears and my creativity will always be the biggest bottleneck when it comes to mixing. The main reason to go for satellites and subs is the looks, since I always make music on the dinner table. But once that choice is made, It is fun to go for the best possible!

Why subs,

You can make a compact 2way BR monitor that can do 30Hz. Here a 20 liter tuned to 32Hz wil do 30Hz -3dB when place on a table or in a book case then the low-end will rise 3-6dB. even 25Hz will be reproduced with a 20liter enclosure. Lets say 17liter with damping will make 20liter.
And a amazing 87dB 1Wmtr.

Tweeter a monacor dt28 or a ringradiator of vifa.

DT28. 28mm dome! for low XO 2kHz.

I like this idea a lot! Since there is more available budget, would it be possible to increase the quality while keeping the full range concept and sizes?
Is the chr70 not high quality? So yes why?

Here the woofer is a budget type here a nice one from scanspeak mono coil.

Do you have a saparate subwoofer amplifier or a two channel stereo output then you need a sub with two coils.
Like this visaton.
