Design for unknown (but nice) 10" woofer
I have the chance to pick up the 10" woofer from an Alon V. It's one of the Alnico ones and since I have some Alon speakers (8"woofers, 3dB down ~50 Hz) I was wondering what the best design would be given I know very little about the woofer.
Other details: I have limited tools, the room it's in is 13"^2 and I'm looking for tight response.... don't need 20 Hz.
Appreciate the advice.

To do it right, you need the T/S parameters. They can either be measured or you can try to get the info from the manufacturer.
Of course, if you go with a sealed subwoofer you have a lot of leeway, you could just build a box and hope for the best. The size of the original speaker box might make a good starting point.
