Denon PMA 1060. Somethings really wrong

Until you get it to produce decent quality sound, I'd set the bias to less than 1mv.

Crack open the dead transistors to see if they look like counterfeit parts. It's generally obvious. There's no point in wasting time trying to get the amp to work if you have outputs that are not up to spec.

The audio should have played cleanly at low volume with the lamp in series. When you get it working, look at the audio output to see how it's distorted. Post a photo if possible.

Fuses are cheaper than the outputs. Connect a 1 amp fuse in series with each emitter resistor. They 'should' protect the outputs.
 
the sound was decent on low volume.
Lets say max turn on the volume 1/4.

then it started to sound crappy.
I really dont think the outputs was counterfiet parts.
i did not buy them from Ebay, bought them from a
small dealer wich sells components to small
companies and stuff....

But i will crack it open, dont have anything to compare
with tought 😛
