i have a denon dct 2000 head unit, it works alright except for the remote turn on, it doesn't supply any output voltage , so it doesn't turn my power amp on. in general, is this an easy fix, or should i just junk the unit? tnx
I'm not familiar with that head unit but it's often just a blown transistor.
You can still use the head unit. Connect the remote turn-on of the amp to the ignition (red) wire on the head unit. It will turn the amps on when it switches the head unit on.

on my rockford headunit, theres a antenae output and a remote output...
when i first installed it i hooked up the antennae output, instead of the remote output....so whenever i put a cd in...the amps would shut off.
