denon dvd-2500, service manual, toughts?

hi folks,
I picked up a denon dvd-2500 for $25 ( I think is was like $800 or 900 in 1999). I want it as a cd player, heard good thing about the denon dvd-2900, so figured I give it a shot for $25.

so far, it sounds fine - top end is easy, no harshness. I have a sony dvd/sacd which is hard on topend.

I am looking for a service manual - anyone have one scanned or copied I can look at? thinking about dac output mods of course...

then again it has spdif out ....
