Denon DN-X900

Hi
I have a Denon DN-X900 mixer that has 2 or 3 channels that I cant get sound from. I think it's two. ch3 and ch4.
In these mixers all the inputs can go through all channels ,it's a case of selecting the input you want on that channel.
I was looking at the Schematic and it doesn't look obvious to me what could be the source of the problem.
I don't have a scope so it might be difficult to find the cause of the fault.
I've had the mixer for a while. I don't have it open at the minute as I want to see where the signal goes first.
Last time I had it open I had a good look but couldn't work it out. I checked ribbon cables and a few other things.
Maybe someone here has repaired one ,or had a similar problem with these.

Cheers

Im pretty sure that I had the same problem with mine. - and almost sure that the problem was due to a mechanical problem in the input-selector switch.
I think, that I ended up taking the selector apart and cleaning it, but memory is fading.

Kind regards TroelsM

Oh. I'll look into that. 👍
Yea. It's hard to work out what it is ,as they all go to the same place after. The pot is one of a few differences, the other is the fader.
You can have the same input on all channels and turn them up. It's quite good but mad at the same time. Very clever.
I've got some Kontakt Super 10. I might try that. Strange that it's 3+4. Normally 1+2 would be used the most.
Cheers

Cant remember the schematic details, but I think that the some of signal-path is digital. - at least the input-switching. This means that errors may not look like what you are used to on analog mixers.
