hai friends
i am having denon 1800 and its power rating is very less.i mainly uses to listen 2 channel music only. i want to connet a heavy wattage power amplifier by using the preout of left and right channels from denon 1800. my offer is YAMAHA MX 1000U (250WX2 RMS VINTAGE AMP) .whether it will improve the sound quality?
please advise

Are you referring to the Denon AVR-1800 Dolby Digital/DTS Receiver? I think its a no brainer using it for a pre-amp and hooking up the MX-1000 if all you do is use it for 2ch music. In other words GO FOR IT 😉
yes,i failed to mention fully the denon amp is AVR 1800 DD/DTS AMP ONLY, AND I WANT TO USE MX 1000 FOR STEREO PURPOSE ONLY.
I happen to like Denon gear. Its a pretty decent receiver but as far as comparing it operating as an all in one unit versus it becoming a preamp with the MX-1000 for amp its not much of a comparison IMO. Like I said its a no brainer. Hook that yammie up and enjoy! Better yet, get more amps for the rest of the channels 😀
