I haven't seen anything on this lcd (probably b/c it's expensive) I got a partially defective one for 180ish and am thinking about turning this lcd into a super projector. Does anyone know if this is going to be possible? I mainly want to use this lcd b/c it has just about every input possible; I wouldn't have to buy any xternal boxes (I hope), since I don't care to watch tv.
Does anybody know if this lcd can be used with ease? I don't want to potentially screw this lcd up I'm assumign that I use all the original stuff that came w/ this lcd, just that I have to push it out of the way to get a clear path for light to shine through this lcd.
If anybody wants to recommend some parts for this project, that'd be awesome too as I haven't done anything w/ projectors except read some posts on this forum.
BTW, it's defective in that it has some blotches on it. But since it's my first project, I dont' much care. I also have some viewsonic lcds, but it seems that those might not be easy to use.

forgot to mention. it's 1600x1200, I believe it can handle 32-bit colors? and 25ms. correct me if i'm wrong of course. I'm mainly curious if anyone has dealt with dell monitors b4. Hopefully it'll be easy to modify. All in all, I can't use an OHP for this, correct? I'd have to make it completely from scratch is what i'm thinkin right now
Sounds cool I use one right now for my desktop. I doubt you'll be able use the full size of the panel. Maybe 1280x1024 or 1280x768. Otherwise I think that would require a really long FL fresnel and triplet lens which are hard to find. I could be wrong.. I'm a n00b at this. Wish I had the money for the 15.4 WUXGA panel and controller. *sigh*
