Is there a delay between submitting a post and it appearing in the forum? Submitted one about 5 minutes ago and haven't seen it show, additionally there's nothing in the FAQ noting that posts are moderated.

There is something in the sign upinfo.
Up to about the 1st 5 posts are moderated so as to weed out spammers and may take 1 min to a couple hrs to show up. Patience.

Yup When I first came here my stuff was held until I reached #10.. (Im glad I did them all on my first visit (To show the staff I was OK and not a spammer))

If a moderator is on hand it takes minutes or maybe even seconds but we don't exactly monitor each others schedules as the mods are from all parts of the world so it can be a lot longer under certain conditions. We don't have an abundance of mods as we are gauged on quality not quantity. 😉
sun spots, browser not refreshing, forgetting to hit return is usually my problem

The website could do a much better job of showing new users they are under moderation. We'll be upgrading the software soon and it will be approximately a zillion times better.
I hope your not going to put VB4 here Jason.. There are MUCH BETTER choices than that.... VB4 is slower and ugly!!
