You should call them.Mine was well out of warranty and they replaced both amp and sub for a very low price, they are great to work with.
PF15TL humming and popping?
I have a pf15tl that was repaired last year. Recently it would make random popping sounds when not in use. Now it makes a loud humming sound without even being connected to low level inputs. Unplug the power and a loud pop sounds occurs.
I have not really used the sub since the last repair and
it wasn't being abused when it died. In fact it was plugged in but disconnected from reciever due to random popping sounds.
the red power led is on.
The 2 terminals the feed the sub have 55 volts at idle. (Nothing connected just 115vac on power cord)
I'm assuming this is the hum that I hear.
I checked the components that have been mentioned in other posts and they check good.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
cheers
