Hello all,
I have moved into a new place and am concerned about line noise. I do NOT have a dedicated line for my audio /video system (all low level source electronics, amps, TV, cable box (TV, internet). But this line only supplies the above and a few lighting receptacles. In addition I am adding a noise filter receptacle (audioquest) on the 1st in this chain.
In a previous question (which I cannot locate) about how to hook up the audioquest receptacle someone had recommended another line treatment that could be installed (Cdm???). ANY recommendations is greatly appreciated.

Your devices will filter out any noise and don't need additional line filters/conditioners.

Once upon a time I lived in a flat and every time the central heating or the fridge came on I could hear that through my stereo as added noise as long as they did run.
Audiophiles told me these were putting noise on my line and suggested rather pricey ways to eliminate that like line filters/conditioners or running a separate line to power the stereo.
The moment I replaced the last single ended IC with a balanced XLR one all that immediately disappeared. So what I was told was line noise was nothing more than RFI interference.

Why are you concerned about AC power line noise? Excepting momentary turn on/off noises, do nearby appliances, HVAC, high tech lighting or other digital equipment impact the audio quality? Is the audio quality the same 24 by 7?
p.s. don't expect much from AudioQuest products.
