Decware DFR-8

Does anyone know how Decware DFR-8 will perform in a backloaded horn? Is it advisable to put a Decware DFR-8, in a horn made for Fostex FE206E?

Well, the DFR8 is a 206, with a bunch of tweaks. So yes, it should work reasonably in most 206 boxes. The mods reduce the damping a bit (lift the Q), but not massively, assuming the published claims are accurate, and there's a degree of fudge-factor as this may vary depending on your amplifier anyway.

Tnx Scottmoose..., fudge-factor.., I thought so to, as it nearly always is with Hi-Fi tweaks.. 🙂 Ok then..., will continue tweaking after my own ears.., much cheaper and more reliable.
