I am still a little confused as to what specifically that means when its placed on the face of almost every deck.... I am assuming that it uses a internal mosfet in a PWM supply to up the voltage to give you the higher deck output. If so what approx what V would they go up to? on the forum here someone said alpine might internally go to 17V
I think all aftermarket decks use a chip amp bridged per channel to put out their power ratings so a mosfet isnt part of the actual amplifier?

Mosfet outputs are used instead of bipolars.
