Hi I’ve just bought a par of Decca London Ribbon and would love some help to build a nice speaker with the right filter, elements and box.

And this is what I would like to have.

I am a real rookie so please help me out shase my dream 😁🔈

Decca ribbon is one of my favorite tweeters of all time. May i ask what you paid?

Typically XOed at 1500 Hz (as shown in the diyA thread linked), but the Canadian Distributergave us the opportunity to go at a prototype factory reflex box. They XOed at 1kHz. 8” midBass. Once we finished with them (ductseal, wire, bracing) they sounded absoulutely wonderful.

2 6.5, an 8 or something like SEAS A26.

Thank you for all the information so far, I would like to build a portabel listening lounge and it will look like the picture I´m including in this message 🙂

Its will not be exactly the same but something like that. any tips on 10" speaker that would be nice?

@planet10 I´ve paid 1.000 Swedish krones, something like 96 Euro, the are really nice. Have you tried yours?
