OK so to summarize: I didn't bother reading much (or most) of SL's material on energy storage but I'm sure he's got it fundamentally wrong. Don't focus on the details of SL's analysis...it will just confuse you when you should be studying my much more profound insights. Good - works for me!!
Thanks Micheal! Very informative thread. I always as much as expected the stored energy that shows in the ETC plots to be related to frequency response issues, but now you have me convinced. At least there is sómebody who's happy with what you have to say 😀 .
mige0,
You may be right, you may be wrong: but I just spent a very, very pleasant hour listening to my Linkwitz Orion speakers (original build).
His contribution to DIY hifi and commercial electronics is huge, and I agree with another poster: that your title for this thread and your comment describing his stored energy in self-censored expletives are incredibly disrespectful of the man and his achievements.
Sincerely,
GB.
P.S. But of course, he does not need me to defend him or his work.

Oh really ?
- we certainly must have different thinking with respect to respect and disrespect then.
One thing to learn in life is to look at people as people - you may not have made the experience why this is quite a high goal...
