I was part of the first group buy for the Aleph clones (10 years ago?) and have gone through three preamps before building the B1 buffer (Thanks Nelson!). I thought it was awesome, but got the itch to build the DCB1 (Thanks Salas!). Since I have the Aleph, I've rolled Mundorfs, Obbligatos, Russian PIO, and others. Finally I said, screw the caps. Without caps, this combo is to die for!
So, when is something going to blow up?
The Aleph is a steady 30mV DC, DCB1 3mV, CD player 6mV. What are my options? What can I do to keep this configuration going , or am I just going to cry someday?
