DC-Link capacitors 40uF, 900V

more or less 40 euro for all of them. Not cheap...perhaps cheaper elsewhere or other similar types...in surplus stores.

Mills, Riedon or the Dale NS (non-inductive) are better for the cathode section. But too expensive for me. 15 dollar a pop

I figured inductive is not an issue for plate loads...hence my mention of the cathode section.

I use them in my tube amp power supply. They are the biggest bang for the buck I know of (even new list price). But anywhere a polyprop cap would be used these can be used. So passive crossover and PSU are the ones that come to mind.
