That's what the 1-4 check is for. Some of these boards (SOIC, DIP) have one LMx11 and one op-amp. The ones with no 1-4 short have two op-amps.

It looks very similar to the vfl 22k im working on. However the vfl only has 1 driver card. Looks like that one has 2.

I was unaware that there are versions with 2 tl072's. Every other component and value i can see in his pic matches mine identically. Im almost certain pins 1 and 4 of the top chip will be shorted.

There similar boards. One has a DIP driver IC. The other has an SOIC driver IC. I don't know how many versions of the basic design are being used so I use the 1-4 short test to know definitively if one of the SOIC ICs (not the driver) is an LMx11.
