Hi diyAudio,

the recent readings of the forum has taken me into the mood to try my first diy mod, you guys have turned my curiosity on ;)

I want to upgrade my DBX 576 micpre/comp channel strip.
I've planned to change tubes and opamps, and I want to add input and output transformers.

Tubes: I've picked up 2 Telefunken diamond mark smooth plate 12AU7 to replace the stock tubes Philips ECG 8739ADX.

In/out transformers: I'd like to add the Lundhal, but I still don't have enough know-how to pick up the right ones;

Op-amp: in the schematics I read that 3 different types of opamps are used in the stock 576:
- TL072CDR
- NJM5532D
- LM833D
Can you please suggest good replacements for each of the 3 models?

Here the schematics of the DBX 576: ftp://ftp.dbxpro.com/pub/pdfs/discontinued/Schematics/576H Schematic.pdf

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thank you
Maxx
