If they were on sale because they're bruised and battered, it should have been disclosed up front.
If it was just a matter of cosmetic damage, one could decide to say "meh, whatever". But given that the caps have dents in them, I wouldn't trust them in a high-voltage circuit. Who knows if the dielectric has been compromised?!
As pointed out earlier, the manufacturer has packaging designed to avoid damage in shipping. Usually there's some sort of crate or carrier that the components sit in to avoid damage in transit.
+1 for contacting Axon about it. Just ask politely if the damage is likely to be only cosmetic or if it's more likely to have impacted the performance of the capacitor.
