Will be fixed soon....after loading latest beta software, apple romote contrl stops working 🙁
We have three dam2941 that have been damage in shipping, but repaired. We are therefore selling them at a special price of EUR 300 each. They work just like the regular ones and comes with same 3 years warrenty against manufacturing defects.
Visit www.soekris.dk/dam2941.html for pictures of the three board. Basically, just a SMT capacitor has been broken off in shipping and a the pad got teared off, so I have replaced the capacitor with a leaded part....

No, and no need to, it's being used the voltage reference, not for audio....Hello all!
Is it possible to change opa365 (opamps in resistors network) on some external power?
Hello all!
I wanted use filters from this post:
Does those filters will be suitable for dam2941 ?
On official download page http://www.soekris.dk/download.html , there are different filters for dam2xxx boards and others.
I wanted use filters from this post:
This is a set of 4k filters.
- 4k-Kaiser linear phase filter that improves on the manufacturer's version.Has less ringing in the passband, attenuates more in the stopband 170 dB, and has a higher cutoff frequency. It also has better bass response and a narrower impulse response. Best fase response.
- 4K-Nyquist. Linear pase filter improves the manufacturer´s versión. Has less ringing in the passband. Attenuates more in the stopband 170 dB. Has a higher cutoff frequency plaint to 22 kHz. It also has better bass response and a narrower impulse response. The Best fase response to 22...

I completed a dam1941 diy build a couple of years ago. It is my system full time and has always given excellent service.
I recently downloaded ed a PS Audio 352.8 K 24-bit download hi res album . It won't play; lower bit rate files do fine. I'm transporting through a BlueSound Node with SSD library with digital direct to the DAC.
A couple of years ago I purchased a Raspberry Pi and messed around and got a DSD to play, but I lost interest and haven't messed with it since.
Obviously I'm doing something wrong. I'd appreciated a steer in the right direction.
Many thanks

Got some advice on another site. Apparently, I2S is required. I didn't know how to employ it then, or now. I'll dig around in this thread and see if I can learn something. Any advice would be appreciated.
It is very easy to get I2S from RaspberryPI, many threads about this. This one for example:
https://diyelectromusic.com/2021/11/21/raspberry-pi-i2s-audio-interface/

Follow up on I2S with RPi:
I dug out my Raspberry Pi gear, made a few hard/software changes, and this is where I stand today. Raspberry Pi; 4B; Volumio O/S; Allo Digi-One Signature; and MConnect iphone controller. Presumeably, the Allo outputs I2S dignal. However, as now configured, the MDonnect does not recognize 352.8 K 24-bit files.
The MConnect, seems pretty cheesy. It does find Qobuz easily and the sound is noteworthy; however it seems to lump all files into one large source file. FWIW, the RPi system is a clear step up from my current - transport only - BluSound Node system. Nowever I'm wondering if my the MConnect system is just too basic to deal with I2S. There's what looks like a better controller, JPlay, but that costs $50/year and I'm not happy with that.
Anyway, I am making progress, but need to make more. Further help appreciated.

I2S is working with new beta software, unfortunately at the same time RC is dead. Soren promised to fix this issue, but no action till now 🙁Got some advice on another site. Dear SOREN, I will repeat my request here because you do not respond to emails. When will you improve remote control for software 1.24? You promise and nothing happens. I apologize to all users for the off-topic post.
Sorry, didn't notice the pins were +5A and +5D. Question should have read: Are J7 pins 5 and/or 6 suitable for I2s power?Are J7 pins 2 & 6 (+5V) usable for I2S power?
Thx
J7 is the power supply input ! on J9 pins 12 and 13 are extensions of +5V Digital and should work with I2SAre J7 pins 2 & 6 (+5V) usable for I2S power?
Thx
I wouldn't mind trying the dam2941 with Abraxalito's Dark LED passive filter-I/V stage.
Are they compatible?

Dan
