Hello,
I wondered what is happening when you feed the master clock input of a DAC with a frequency which is not a multiple of the FS of the incoming signal. I guess it's working like a kind of asynchronous reclocking. Sort of Kunusoki like maybe?
Thank you for your opinions

My opinion is that the clock controls the FIFO latch time in the DAC so there will be a big mismatch only every several hundred periods of clock. The same way as ASR by Kusunoki except the clock in that appplication is at least 50MHz and in direct DAC feeding it can't exceed something like 35MHz. So there is more mismatches but is it audible? I don't think it will sound horrible. Did someone ever try it by mistake?
