da-lite audio vision screen

I'm considering using this screen with a benq pe7800 dlp home theater projector. I want to use it to be able to put the speakers behind the screen. I've heard it's good from some people, but also that it's bad because the squares in the picture lines up with the perforations they put in the screen and it causes a dull picture.

Has anybody used this screen or seen it being used and can comment on it?

Thanks!

I install many screens (Da-Lites, Stewarts, etc.), though not too many for Home Theatre. The perforated ones are installed due to structure issues, not aesthetics, in the commercial world. You will see the perfs. Ask for a demo from whomever you are buying from. Go for a gain screen if the room has untreated windows or if you plan to use the system during the day.

I recommend getting the speakers outside (better imaging anyway); the only tricky one is the center.
Good luck with your project.
