D3A KT88 SE amplifier

This is a nice sounding amp that measures well. I built monoblocks without the ground plane.

Could yo do some example of E Linear feedback for this shematic ?

Hi xenofonn..

Elinear Feedback wil be some like this ?

43% tap from Screen Grid , and from Screen Grid in the output tube, to plate at the input tube ?

Hello from Greece! Your schematic is not correct! This is not E-linear schematic! Do not use at all! The E-linear use only pentode in preamp tube! If the Millet schematic is to complicated for you,you can use the Abdellah schematic, with a few modifications . First connect a 220k resistor between anode of Kt88 and 6n1p tube anode. This is schade feedback.Second change a cathode resistor of KT88 with a smaller value like 350 ohm 5w at least! The out transformer it is better to be like 2,5-3Kohm max. Your power supply must be 420-450vdc. 300ma at least ,6,3v 5A. Before 6n1p anode you can use a resistor 4,7-5,6k and electrolytic 10uf/450v for stabilisation to the 6n1p voltage. The voltage of 6n1p no more than 200v-220v max! I built this circuit, and i have excellent results! The output tube work at almost 100% of power dissipation, with out problems,if you buy good quality KT88.I use JJ tubes very strong and no problems at all! The power tubes draw about 96ma at 380v a-k,and the 6n1p draw 4 ma for each section,at 210v a-k. You can use a KT120 tube, for better results! At this time i use KT120 tubes with much better peformance, than KT88.The KT120 draw about 105ma at 380v a-k. This tube is beefie, and not stressed at all! Your output transformer power at least 20w power, and 100ma current. I use james 6123hs output transformers, with excellent results! If you want to see more schematics like this, search for kegger schematics,RH88,and RH universal here and in audiokarma, very simple, and very good!

Thanks xenofonn, i will try it.

Hello from Greece! Another modification for this circuit, which forgot,in cathode of 6N1P,NOT,connect the parallel capacitor. It is important this, when use schade feedback! The sensitive of this amp,is about 2v RMS,not so sensitive! I use preamplifier, for full drive. The circuit must be earthed, for your safety, and the minus pole of your speakers too! I use this amp about 5 years with out problems!
