I was cleaning my parts shelf and found some tubes that I haven’t got used for a long time, namely D3a, C3m, 71A, 300B and 845. Initial plan is to use 300B as driver for 845 but still haven’t decided which one for input.
Any suggestion/idea for a design to make best use of the D3a, C3m and 71A, please?
Thank you!

Depends of design: two stage amplifier, VAS+CF+power tube, possibility of B+ voltage, required output power ... etc.
D3a or C3m as VAS stage, or first tube of two stage amplifier (each has enough gain and capacity to drive 300B or 845).
71a (gain:3) or 300B (gain: 3.9) as driver or cathode follower.
300B (5k OPT) or 845 (5-10k OPT) as power tube.

I need to clean my parts drawer more often. Maybe I’ll find a bunch of expensive tubes. 😜
I am building the Thorsten Loesch legacy 300b myself with the c3m so you have my permission to do the same. 😉 l am going to try a cheaper pentode with standard socket as well.
Finding good quality loctal for the c3m can be annoying.
I using 3.5k 20H Opt
