Hi all,
Dynavector (17D karat mk2) claims an internal resistance of abou 38 ohms.
Today, looking on Sowters's page i see 10 ohms

Who is right?😕
Thanks,

The one who did not do the typo. Probably the manufacturer in Japan has the better chance to be right? Is there any difference in MKII?
Ha ha ha!!!!!! 🙂salas said:The one who did not do the typo.

I do not believe big differences, at least from D2 and D3, I do not know
the earlier versions

I was sure Dynavector was claiming right data , but that tabulated have made me a bit doubtful
😕

Ok, very precious confirmations for me!🙂
Hei, do you like your karatD3? What turntable do you have ?
Just curious of course, because the karat are our personal reference😎

The one we measured was not mine, but a friend's.In the right system it is very good,if a bit bright/light for my tastes.I am using a Benz LP Ebony on a Thorens TD350/SME M2 and Lukaschek PP1/T9 phono stage. What phono stage are you using? The Karat has its "preferences" on phono stages🙂
I prefer the Karat just for his structural design. The cantilever is only
1,7 mm !!!! Diamond!😉
I know a lot of people think it sound "thin"but IMO are the others FAT! 😀
Actually a friend of mine has a "horrible" planar 9 with Pass X-ono +
X1 + X-250. Result: the Wadia25 sound better!
Trying to adjust the load of the cartridge make something of positive but is the planar9 that have to go out of the window!😀
