I'm working through a build of Pioneer B20 fullrangers with Dayton ND20FA 3/4" neodymium tweeters to augment the high end.
The spec sheet states the cut out (tweeter width) is 33mm. I don't have calipers, and I'll need to buy a driller bit to put these in.
Looking for a "been there, done that" opinion as to what size drill works for a press-in fit.
If I had to guess, I say 1 & 5/16", but it might be a little off.
thanks..

I already did that... I'm looking for some drill size that actually works.
1 - 5/16 is a little over... 1.31
1 - 9/32 is a little under at 1.28
1 - 19/64 would be about right at 1.297, but I've never seen such a thing, although I'm sure it must exist.
I can't seem to actually find a 33mm drill at Lee Valley.
I'm hoping someone has used something and can comment on what size works.

I looked at the pdf. There is a flange that covers up the cutout.
If you use some non adhesive plumbers tape that might give a
press in fit.
Also a question for gychang and others: Would one of these button tweeters work with this Tangband:

I have had my eye on this as a way to get into the 5 inch range.

I will be experimenting with a tweeter and 4 1/2" Pioneer (A11) but no experience with the TB.

If you look on the parts express page:
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=275-030
You will notice that the dimension B is 1-5/16"
I didn't have this bit, IIRC I used 1-1/4 for mine then filed it a little until it squeezed in...
Hope this helps...
