I'm curious, is it possible to convert analog color organ output to DMX512 signals?
interesting question, i can't say it not possible but i am at a loss to tell you how it would be done, my initial thought would be that the full color organ circuit wouldn't be needed as in the output triacs.
DMX 512 protocol is for dimmers and moving fixtures that utilizes a 0 to 10 vdc control signals so the color organ output would need some A/D in order to communicate via DMX.
i'll ask some lighting guys i know about this and see where they point me.
