Cubo Infra

Strange ? the simplest things are actually how everything works already don’t let the ideal gas law for you you can look at that after the fact for obvious reasons especially if you’re flying an airplane over the mountains in the afternoon instead of early morning😝😝)

I compared the cubo infra with a 71 liter 20hz vented box both using the lab12c.
Group delay (not including the tapped horn upper bass peaks that will be filtered out) and frequency response from 20-100hz are almost identical (cubo picks up a but from 80-100hz) but were the cubo shines is reduction of excursion at the tuning frequency.

The table below is how I like to compare sub alignments. Since excursion is one of the factors of distortion I try for the lowest excursion to hit 100db at 1 meter. I used freddi's model and a vented box with a 4" port.

Thanks for sharing the design Rademakers, I hope to build one.

Thanks. The LAB12 is capable of 12+mm linear excursion, so 2.5mm excursion @20 Hz is not something I'd hold against its use in a vented alignment.

The particle velocity at the vent is IMO a bigger issue. But then again, it's a 20 Hz. And if I was really worried about it, I'd go with a PR...
