- suitable for PA use for small DJ gigs (sub 150 people)
- efficient enough that it could be powered w/ a 12v system
- I’d give up a few dbs on the low end to save some weight or $$ and/or gain some efficiency

The Eminence 3012LF and 3012HO are both around $250. The Dayton Audio PA310-8 around $110.
The 3012HO and PA310-8 trade low end for more upper range output. The PA310-8 has less excursion, so won't put out quite as much as the 3012HO, but a pair certainly would put out more- if you are concerned about efficiency, double up.
