I have a small music player with CS 4398 dac, with its balance output to Op Amp 1, OPA 1612 with the typical RC circuit in between. The Rs in serial are easy to measure, 2k2 and 150 ohm. The 2 Cs are serface mount and difficult to measure the value.
The ouput then goes to another OPA 1612, then a buffer.
I know there are Pals that used transformer, or simple RC to do the filtering.
Any one tried LRC filter output from the CS 4398?
I am thinking placing a 10 mh coils, each in the +ve and -ve output, then connect directly to the op amp in differential mode. With only a 1000 pf in between the +ve and -ve input of the op amp as far as filtering is concerned.
The idea is such that Op Amp 1 could have gain of about 2 to 3x, and perhaps could drive the head phone directly, as well as a line out.
