crystal with three pins..

Hello,

I am tweaking i2S asynchronization reclock ELSO designed for DAC.
In my city the 100Mhz crystal is not available, so I used a 50Mhz one temporarily.
Finally, I bought a 97.5Mhz one today.
But it is not similar to conventional crystal with two pins, there are three pins under it!
I don't know how to connect it to PCB as two pins crystal. 🙁

The thired poin is probably the package ground. Check it with an ohmeter.

Sorry for the obvious but....

is it a crystal or an oscillator? If it's an oscillator you would have 3 pins, pwr, gnd, and out.

Maybe a crystal filter for narrow IF amps

I just tried.
Oh yes, the third pin is connected to ground.
