Looking to bypass the (dead) dsp on Crown XTI2000...Amp seem to work, but DSP is completly dead. Anyone have schematics or a way to bypass the DSP and feed signal directly to the Power amp? By the way, it look like a Lapgruppen technology! Class B amplifier with class d rail amplifier! Thanks
No that's a trade-off with a customer...He replace all his XTI with our amps! 🙂 He got to much trouble..Some amp fail, lot of trouble with the DSP inside the amps..That's why I whant to bypass them and resale them fast!
So he was in lack of cash.
I assumed the DSP lasts longest in an amp. Maybe it`s not the most refined design.

One of the design mistakes in these amplifiers is always the same: Too much sensitive SMD (like big ICs) in a main PCB subject to bending due to heavy parts and thermal cycling.

As you said, not the most refined design...Everything on the same big board, even the in/out connector...But still waiting to know how to bypass the DSP section! At least, just know where is the power amp input section...By the way, I give only 100$ per amp...Make my profit anyways! And now he have power in is club! 🙂
Big companies think different way than a DIY designer does. Every cent counts, the cheapest and ready for function design is the best, which contains purchaseable and beneficial parts during the product lifetime.
DSP are dead....They write the display in chiness! I will have 12 XTI2000 for sale when I will finish to bypass DSP...How much are you willing to pay for each?
Sent to your email EVA...If you have a way to make a link, do it, I will not send it to everybody!
