i have a problem.one channel is fine ,one is half volume.it sounds fine ,just lower.the output section seems to be fine.there are 2 ic chips in the preamp section (r and l).one has lower output than the other.i just got a new one and replaced it.still low volume. voltages are the same on both.the chip is a mc 30079n i believe. Help??

Couldn't find the 210 schematic so I'm looking at the 810 schematic off of the Crown site. Which MC33079 IC did you replace? U100? If there is a feedback network around the IC check those components, especially the 47pf cap if it is U100 or it's mate.

No need for payment, that's why we're all here. The 47pf capacitor was not a wild guess by the way. I had a Macro 5000 in for repair years ago and that's what the problem was, a 47pf capacitor. I'm thinking Crown got a bad batch of these suckers because there is very little voltage across them and no reason to go short. Anyway glad you found the problem, hope it was easier to work on than the 5000 beast.
