hello people, i have some questions about jbl L16 decade home version (jbl 4301 wx studio version).

this speakers have in common same loudspeakers , almost same dimension (l-pad is on back an bas reflex in the middle on jbl L16 decade) but the difference is on the crossover , why?

studio version must sound better then home version ? is it marketing?

Just Guessing, but the 4301 crossover was designed for near field, while the L16 was designed for home use.

I am guessing they are more alike than different, but the crossovers were optimized for different environments.

Also you want to maximize the speaker/xover in a pro environment. Less components, more sound. Is the F3 announced higher or lower in the studio version? Should be lower with bigger box but maybe it's the same. Mid frequencies reproduction more important IMO.
