Critique please: Analogue -> Digital (TOS-LINK)

Circuit I've quickly knocked up below hopefully takes stereo Audio line-level analogue input and converts it to a digital S/PDIF optical TOS-LINK output, thus matching what some CD players provide such as the Marantz C63/CD67 etc.

I would greatly appreciate any comments / recommendations for my circuit below:

I am not completely sure but I don't think you can use Schmitt trigger input parts for a CMOS oscillator. The oscillator requires a bit of positive feedback to build up the oscillation and the SI think Schmitt trigger will prevent this.

Toslink parts use a lot of current in big gulps a 10uF or 100uF cap after you filter inductor would be wise.

You could get a bit of a thump from the input with no resistor to ground before the input capacitors, it also helps to reduce static strike damage.

Hope it works out, I haven't checked the IC configuration.
